What I Bring to the Table (besides snacks)

A sneak peek at what it's like to work with me.

Purpose-Forward

I don’t do meaningless.
I want my work to matter. I’m not here to churn out widgets or be a cog in the wheel. I’m motivated by meaning; by work that creates impact, connection, or progress. If there’s no purpose, what’s the point?

Fearless

Scary? Good. Let’s go.

My mangled toenails can tell you: I’m an endurance athlete. I run into the big, scary things—literally. That same grit shows up at work. I don’t shy away from challenges or the unknown. I leap with my whole heart, and I figure it out on the way down.

Lead with Heart

Soft doesn’t mean weak.

I trust my heart, and I lead with it. So much so, I have an anatomical heart tattooed on my arm. My heart is my compass for intuition, for how I show up for others, and for how I make decisions. It doesn’t mean soft. It means steady, human, and real.

Salt of the Earth

Humble pie is my favorite flavor.

Blame my Midwestern roots, but humility is core to who I am. Feedback? That’s a gift, whether giving or receiving. Recognition? I want others to shine, too. And when things need doing, I roll up my sleeves and leave my ego at home.

Whole-Human

Humans > Perfection

We don’t check our lives at the door when we clock in. I honor the whole human in my colleagues, and I hope they do the same for me. Work is richer when we bring our full selves—messy, brilliant, complex, and real.
